STING inhibitor C-178 is a covalent, in vivo-active, small-molecule inhibitor of STING, attenuates STING-associated autoinflammatory disease in mice; markedly reduces the CMA-mediated induction of serum levels of type I IFNs and IL-6 in vivo; directly targets mouse STING (mmSTING) but not human STING (hsSTING).
